The Unique Convenience of Digital Piano
The Clavinova piano is equipped with the unique convenience features of digital pianos. You can use headphones to keep the surrounding environment quiet, or connect your smart device to Clavinova through Bluetooth and listen to music through its speakers. In addition, connect to Yamaha's Smart Pianist App to provide additional assistance for your piano practice. The touch panel and display screen only light up during operation, and when the panel is turned off, its smooth surface is no different from the original piano.
Leveraging Your Expressive Power
When playing a digital piano, the inner end of the keys may become an obstacle to better presenting musical expression, as the inner end of the keys is very close to the fulcrum of the entire string player. As you touch the keys closer to the fulcrum of the keys, the shorter the arm of force, the greater the pressure that your fingers need to apply. Through longer keys, the GrandTouch keyboard provides players with a longer arm of force, allowing them to better control their performance even if the touch position is located inside the keys. This keyboard length is the same as the Yamaha high-end grand piano S3X (as of July 2020), and is currently the longest keyboard arm model among all Yamaha digital pianos.
